On Saturday, May 24, volunteers Ron, Jackie, John, Dwight, Colin, Reid, Kendall, Bruce, Chris, Dannis, Nick and Paul enjoyed the first day of the Memorial Day weekend with nice weather and a good group of guests who came out to ride the Museum’s train. We had riders waiting for the train when we got to the depot a few minutes before 10:00, and there was a steady stream all the way through until we tied up at 2:00! We noted many people who were on their first time visit to the Museum, and we even had some out of state guests. Is our advertising working that well?!
Thanks to a good crew, we had a successful event, and many happy people who enjoyed taking a short ride on the cabooses or the locomotive. Make plans to come out to the next event on Father’s Day in June!
I have included a few pictures I was able to capture of today’s event.
