On Saturday, August 23, volunteers Dwight, Colin, Ben, Dannis and Paul spent the day in the shop cleaning some areas and organizing some tools. The first task was cleaning off the workbench near the front of the shop. As most work benches do, it had become a catch-all, so trash was removed and clutter was cleared. Next we cleared the radio charging/storage shelves in the shop office, again too much clutter. Next we set up a dedicated area for the battery chargers for the battery tools we use. After a lunch break to cool off, it was time to organize a big tool box that we use to store the powered tools and some other bigger items. A desk was moved, some old batteries went outdoors, and some general clean up was finished. The last task was to do some planning for work on the C&S Caboose that is in the shop.
