On Saturday, October 18, volunteers Dwight, Ron, John, Reid, Bruce, Polly, Colin, Dannis, Henry, Nick and Paul spent the morning hosting a private train ride and Museum tour for the Colorado Springs Vintage Car Club. The car club does touring events while visiting various sites, and chose the Museum for this weekend. The Museum volunteers showed everyone a good time and answered many questions about rail equipment.

After the tour was wrapped up, the crew took lunch, and then worked on a variety of small projects during the pleasant afternoon. The cabooses were decorated for next week’s Halloween event. Some folks cleaned up and prepared an old three-light signal for display, and we did a little work to Engine 104.
