Paul’s Blog – October 29, 2022

On Saturday, October 29, the Pueblo Railway Museum rolled out their annual spook train. Many thanks go out to John McDowell, Ron Roach, Maureen King, Jerry Dandurand, Dee Applegate, Dwight Maxey, Colin Mellin, Justin Cesar, Reid Adams and Paul Brown, for doing all the work it takes to pull together an event like ours. John McDowell did a great job putting together our Haunted Railcar once again this year. It was pretty good, because there were several people seen running out of there screaming! John and Dwight worked earlier in the week to get decorations and lighting completed, so the displays would look good. As always, the night of the event was very busy. We had 70 caboose riders, and a handful of locomotive cab riders that kept things moving, and before you know, it the evening is over. We even had a Ghostbusters tribute car and actor on the site!

Despite being busy, I was able to get a few pictures of the event, and even one of the train crew. One or two of the photos are a bit shaky, due to being scared by the ghoul taking residence in the Haunted Railcar.

Enjoy, and watch for announcements of upcoming events through the end of the year.
