On Saturday, June 13, volunteers Dwight, Colin, John, Ron, Dianna, Demitris, Michael, Bruce, Chris, Ben, Reid, Polly, Dannis, Gabriel, Reilly and Paul gathered to provide train rides for our visitors. Along with our Red, White and Blue decorated locomotive, The Patriot, which included a newly applied decal recognizing the country’s 250 birthday, we gave about 130 folks an entertaining train ride which hopefully helped them learn a little more about Pueblo and Southern Colorado railroad history.

The sun was shining with a nice breeze to keep the heat in check, and the afternoon provided some cloud cover to keep things pleasant. If you missed today’s event, keep in mind that we will be running trains again on Saturday July 4th!
