Thanks to our patrons who came out to ride our trains the day before Father’s Day. We had a good crowd, with about 40 riders getting their first look at C&W caboose #3, our new addition to our train. Our hot dog stand got some good reviews. Folks also helped out when the wind tried to blow their tent away!

We had a very good turnout of volunteers for this event. A special shoutout to Nick Valdez, who came over from his usual Canon City Royal Gorge duties to expertly drive our train! Thanks also to Colin Mellin, Ken Valdez, Tyler and Tanner Seeley, Reid Adams, John McDowell, Jerry Dandurand, Dee Applegate, Mary and Matt Winterrowd, Lynnette and Kendall Crouch, and Ron Roach, for their efforts to make the event successful.
