On Saturday, May 23, volunteers Dwight, Colin, Chris, Bruce, Dannis, Reilly and Paul got busy on multiple projects. Chris and Paul worked on installing a home-brewed flange greasing tool on Engine 102. Bruce, Dannis and Reilly set out to clean and lubricate all the switches in our yard. Dwight and Colin spent time working on a few pieces of equipment.
After enjoying our lunch break, we continued work on Engine 102, and cleaned up the Trackmobile so we can determine a hydraulic oil leak. Towards the end of the day, we swapped out a light fixture on the shop building, and gave our Bobcat tractor a little attention to free up a stuck locking pin on the attaching mechanism.
A busy day, with lots of little things getting done that have needed attention. It always feels good to have work days like that. I have included a few pictures including one that Chris provided.
