On Saturday, May 30, volunteers Dwight, Chris, Kendall, Jared, Nick, Dannis, Gabriel and Angelo did a variety of work in and around the shop. Chris concentrated on getting some final details done on our grease rig on Engine 102. Kendall applied the new decoration to the Patriot. Everyone chipped in cleaning up some old wood planks along the rails outside the back door of the shop. Dannis, Nick, Gabriel and Angelo also worked to trim back some tree branches and clear out tree growth along the structure. We were also able to entertain a couple of visiting rail fans. There was an early quit due to other summertime activities, but a bunch of small tasks got done today.
